Typography Practice

For music festival I actually found a font that was just called Punk Kid that I downloaded and this type of font would accurately depict the type of setting this is meant for. The way it looks spray painted was what I was looking for. This fest would mainly be punk or grunge style music to feel nostalgia like you're catching a garage band. For the hotel I used the Serif font, it's typically the font used to make the text look more sophisticated which would fit a luxury hotel advertisement. I tried to mimic what you would see on magazines where the image takes the whole page. It would make the audience feel that they're being offered an expensive product. For an e-sports tournament I used OCR A Extended font mainly because I like how digital it looks without needing to have thick bold letters. This would most likely catch attention of younger audiences looking to compete in video games that they're familiar with. Concept sketches

The banner was actually first posted with just the "text me" we see in the middle and the phone number and eventually as days passed leading up to the movie release it filled with more messages that went from small neat handwr...
